I will also point out there is one distinct difference between CURRENCY and MONEY. Money holds value over time, currency does not have to hold value over time (although it very well can, but then money would have been used as the currency). When a house costs more tomorrow than it did today, that is an example of our currency losing it's value, proving it is not money. When groceries cost more tomorrow, then they did yesterday, that is also an example of our currency not holding value. An ounce of steak is an ounce of steak, it doesn't matter the price per pound, the nutritional value of the foood remains the same.
